Chief Ministers of Himachal Pradesh – CM 

Himachal Pradesh, which is also known as Dev Bhoomi,  is a beautiful State of India. It is located at the foothills of Himalayas in the northern part of India and is bordered by Jammu and Kashmir on the North, by Uttar Pradesh on the South, by Punjab on the West and by Uttaranchal on the East.

Himachal Pradesh became a state of India in January 1971 and state has an area of 55673 square kilometres.  It has 13 states and its capital is Shimla. As per the census of 2011, the population of  Himachal Pradesh is around 6865000. 

Almost all districts of Himachal Pradesh are full of scenic beauty and are popular tourist destination such as Shimla, Dharamshala, Manali, Dalhousie and more. Apart from tourism, textiles, food processing, and pharmaceuticals are some of the major industries of this state.
